Currently:  Kevin has played in 41 games as of  2/21/13 for the Dashers.  He has scored 16 Goals, has 14 assists, and 30 total points.

12/18/12  The Danville Dashers have agreed to terms with forward Kevin McCready. The Poughkeepsie, NY native was the captain of the Cape Cod Bluefins for the last two seasons until being granted his release last week.

McCready had 7 points (6G, 1A) in 15 games for the Bluefins this season and registered 50 points (26G, 24A) in 48 games last season.

“McCready is the type of player the Dashers take pride in,” said head coach Rob Schweyer. “He has captain qualities and can make plays. We’re happy to have him.”

He is expected to join the team later in the week and may see his first game action just before the Christmas holiday.

 Kevin finished his first season as a professional with the Cape Cod Blue Fins of the Federal Hockey League.  He was named Captain as a rookie, and played in 48 regular season games.  He scored 26 goals, and had 24 assists for a total of 50 regular season points.
