Idriss Lomba

Idriss Lomba first learned to play organized basketball and scout talent while growing up in New York City, and his love of the sport has only deepened over time. Born in Gabon and now living in Ontario. He is passionate about helping athletes discover their true potential. Many of his clients are first and second-generation US and Canadian immigrants playing high school, college, and professional basketball in North America and overseas.

Idriss is passionate about transforming the careers and improving the lives of basketball players in the NBA, G-League, and internationally. His expertise spans agent regulations and player association legalities, contract negotiations, endorsements, sponsorships, ethics, collective bargaining agreements, draft preparation, marketing, and recruiting.

In his professional life, Idriss sits on the Board of Directors for Doctors Without Borders, directing the affairs of the organization in Canada to ensure its benefits to the public are maximized. He also serves as a Senior Communications Advisor for Trillium Health Partners and was previously the Manager of Donor Relations & Community Partnerships at Doctors Without Borders.

Idriss holds a Master of Humanities degree from Wright State University Ohio and his long career in communications and marketing has equipped him with the branding and reputation skills needed to support an athlete’s successful career. He lives in Mississauga, Ontario with his wife and eight-year-old son, who is training hard to realize his own dream of one day becoming a professional basketball player.
