As an SMWW Agent Advisor, Edie Reed has successfully been mentored by Dr. Lynn Lashbrook and Joel Corry, and met all the requirements of becoming a SMWW Agent Advisor. This includes agent regulations and player association legalities, contract negotiations, endorsements, sponsorships, ethics, collective bargaining agreements, draft preparation, marketing and recruiting. She is well adept at preparing you for your sports career. She will do whatever possible to represent your interests and help you achieve your goals as not only a sports professional, but your life after sports as well. Edie takes a fully integrated approach to her client’s wealth, personal life, career, and post-career challenges with the goal to simplify and enhance your lifestyle needs as she works closely with SMWW off the court, so you can focus on your career on the court.    Edith spent 9 years on active duty in the US Navy. She has been a Practical Nurse for 12 years. Edith earned a Bachelors Degree in 2008 in Psychology from Upper Iowa University. She has been a youth coach for the last 4 years; her final season culminated in an undefeated season record of 12-0. She was selected as All-Star Coach of the West team, in Newport News, VA and led her team to a sweeping victory for Warwick Rec 2014 Season. Her family recently moved to San Antonio, TX where she enjoys going to basketball games and watching her middle school son, DeMarco play basketball. Her only daughter, Jazmene, is a recent graduate of KState University and lives in Dallas. Edith has been married to a US Army Soldier of 20 years, named Dion. Edith is passionate about the game of basketball and takes the profession of advocating for players very serious. Taking care of people is instinctive and her military upbringing has solidified her demand for demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
