Matt also competed in the Regional Combine in Indianapolis on 3/30/2014. Improved numbers on vertical jump to 40.5. Improved shuttle on right side to 4.15 and left side to 4.12. With his pro day and these regional combine numbers, Matt was 1 of 48 Wide Receivers to be invited the Super Regional Combine in Detroit. Matt is still waiting to receive information from this combine.

2013: Started six of the 11 games he played in ... Ranked third on the team with 32 receptions for 406 yards and three touchdowns ... Hauled in three passes for 20 yards at Louisville (Sept. 1) ... Started against North Texas (Sept. 7), catching two passes for 32 yards ... Started against Marshall (Sept. 14), totaling six receptions for 83 yards ... Started against Austin Peay (Sept. 21), making four catches for 55 yards and a career-high two touchdowns ... Caught one pass for 26 yards at Akron (Oct. 5) ... Pulled in one reception for four yards against Central Michigan (Oct. 12) ... Made three receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown at Eastern Michigan (Oct. 19) ... Caught six passes for a career-high 96 yards against Miami (Oct. 26) ... Started at Buffalo, recording four receptions for 40 yards ... Started at Bowling Green (Nov. 12), catching one pass for five yards ... Started against Kent State (Nov. 19), making one catch for 41 yards. Matt played special teams for both punt return and punt coverage and also served as the holder for extra points and field goals.

Prior to Ohio: Spent the 2010 and 2011 seasons at Iowa Western CC where he was named First Team All-Conference (2011), First Team All-Region (2011), Second Team All-Conference (2010) and Academic All-Region (2009-11)... Iowa Western CC team was a conference champion in 2010 and played in bowl games in both 2010 and 2011... During his prep career at Saint Albert High School, he helped his squad earn two Iowa State titles, playing both wide receiver and quarterback... Was selected as a two-time First Team All-State honoree... Earned four varsity letters in football and basketball... Lettered for three years in track and field and once in soccer... Was teammates with fellow newcomer Tyler Branz.
