2006 Daytona Beach Thunder

Marcus signed with Daytona Beach Thunder. He was signed as a quarterback, but as the season progressed he was transitioned into a defensive back position. A role, in which, he has excelled.  He is now used in three different positions for the club as Quarterback, Defensive back and Wide Receiver. The first player, in club history, to play three positions

Marcus was also named defensive player the week.

 

2000-2003 Benedict College

Marcus began playing for Benedict in two positions, quarterback, and wide receiver. He went on to become the first quarterback in team history to rush for 3 touchdowns in one game. Marcus was also became the first quarterback in Benedict College history to rush for over 200 yards in one game. He was named SIAC conference player of the week. Marcus was also named Preseason All American.

 

1998-2000 Georgia Military College

Here Marcus began playing as Quarterback but was also transitioned to the Wide Receiver position, thus becoming the first player to play 2 positions at Georgia Military College. Marcus was named pre-season All American player. Before leaving to attend Benedict
