2013 (Sr.): Earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors... Played in all 12 games, starting two… Had a career-best 67 tackles on the season, while also recording a career-high nine pass breakups… Was fourth on the team with his 67 stops… Also tallied 2.0 TFLs and a fumble recovery… Opened his senior campaign with seven tackles vs. South Dakota... Had six solo stops and one assisted tackle against the Coyotes… Had two tackles and one pass breakup at Rice... Tallied five stops in the win over LA Tech, including his first career TFL... Tallied six tackles, including three solos, against TTU... Posted two pass breakups vs. the Red Raiders... Had six stops and tied his career high with two pass breakups at TCU... 2009 (Fr.): Redshirted his first year at KU.

High School: A two-year letterwinner at James Bowie HS... Played safety and cornerback... A two-time all-district selection... As a senior he posted 75 tackles to go along with 15 passes broken up, three interceptions and two blocked punts... Team was 11-2, won the district championship and advanced to the round of 16 in the state playoffs his senior year... Team finished the regular season ranked fourth in the state... As a junior he had 103 tackles, two interceptions and 11 pass break ups... Team advanced to state semifinals his junior year... Was also a state qualifier in track.

Personal: Son of Marisa Linton... Graduated in May 2013 with a degree in liberal arts and sciences.
