Barth, a 6'3" 225-pound native of Brandon, Manitoba, recorded 3 goals and 9 assists and played a key role in Southern Minnesota's run to the North American Hockey League semi-finals. He ranked second among NAHL defensemen in penalty minutes with 152. Barth finishes his junior career (NAHL and Manitoba Junior Hockey League) with 21 goals, 53 assists, and 703 penalty minutes in 159 games. Lubbock, which missed the playoffs this season, is entering its eighth year in the CHL which is an A-level independent professional league with 17 teams across the South Central United States
