Vincent Demps

J. Vincent Demps is an Agent Advisor at Sports management Worldwide (SMWW). Mr. Demps completed all the mentor work required by Dr. Lashbrook, Joel Corry and SMWW before becoming an Agent Advisor with SMWW. He is informed on agent regulations, player associations, endorsements, collective bargaining agreements, draft preparations, recruiting, marketing and ethics as it relates to athlete representation. Mr. Demps has a tireless work ethic, diligence, ability to multitask, outstanding leadership skills and a drive to succeed. He has prior knowledge in all sports but basketball where he has deep passion and understanding of the game. Mr. Demps has along history of mentoring to the youth and still occasionally visit schools in the Tennessee and Mississippi area to discuss job opportunities for students after high school and college. It is this same passion that he brings to the sports industry with working to build a long-standing relationship with his client while empowering them to not only the best athlete, but  businessperson they can be.

Background and Education

Over the last 20 years, Mr. Demps has managed a successful full-service investigative firm that provides background checks and surveillance for many insurance companies, private wealth clients and Fortune 500 companies. He holds over twelve private investigators licenses and is a certified trainer in five states and one of only five certified private investigators in the State of Tennessee. Mr. Demps has study political science and business management and holds degrees in  Cybersecurity and Homeland Security. He is presently enrolled at the University of Tennessee Graduate School Master’s Program where he is currently studying Business and Contract Law.
