After a 15 year career as a professional basketball player in Hong Kong, Switzerland and Europe, namely in France, Hubert chose to concentrate his attention on the French sports market, French speaking territories, and the greater Paris area. Hubert acquired operational management experience during and post career, and now provides sports entertainment advisory services through his France based company, Blé Entertainment Sports Agency Servicing a variety of brands, local administrations, celebrity personalities, for profit and non profit organizations for over two decades, that hands-on experience was the genesis for the creation of Blé Entertainment S.A.. Not focused exclusively on marketing, Blé Entertainment’s desire is to provide an immersive project orientated collaborative services aimed at education, commercial and performance related issues in the entertainment and sports industries, with a customised service adapted to all of Blé’s client portfolios.

Hubert's hands-on experience in event management, sports career training and sports promotions span over 20 years, starting with the 1997 McDonald’s Open Basketball World Championship (Paris). Hubert was a professional basketball player in the French Basketball LNB (Pro A & Pro B) and National 1 levels, spanning from 1996 to 2011. As Adjunct Professor and Athletic Director during the launch of the INSEEC Sport U., Sports Management Program (INSEEC GROUP, Paris), Hubert recruited and supported a concentration of former and competing athletes in their passion about sports promotion, event management and sports marketing through the INSEEC U. Sports management Bsc and Msc programs. Hubert also served as Special Consultant for Live NCAA Sports Commentary, Conference Play-Offs & Final Four coverage (2016) with French based broadcasting network, Ma Chaine Sports (MCS). A host of other events have been created and managed for international artists, promoters, for both the entertainment and sports industries.
Hubert is co-founder and President of the Luxembourg based non-profit Sports Management Business Group Association (SMBGASSO). Hubert’s role as Global Ambassador with Sports Management Worldwide (SMWW), played a key part in the coordination of the curriculum and format for the SMBGAsso Sports Academy certificate program and partnership with Lunex University.
Fast forward to today. Post NIL House vs. NCAA, Hubert’s objective is to continue to expand upon the most comprehensive and modern approach to sports management. The NIL (Name Image & Likeness) perspective as it pertains to prospective foreign student-athletes is a very specific and unique environment that requires experience and expertise specific to the foreign athlete. Inform clients on the methodologies, the networks, the practices and principales of sports management available to this student-athletes and sports business professionals. With the combined support of SMWW, Lunex University, and SMBG Association, Hubert has created a unique opportunity and network for all passionate about sport and a career in the industry of sport.
Hubert’s education includes a Bsc in Industrial Technology and Manufacturing from the College of Engineering & Engineering Technology, Northern Illinois University (U.S.A.), and a Msc in Sports Management from Paris-12 (France). Hubert currently works with the French professional soccer team FC Lorient accompanying the team’s youth prospects and young professional players at their on campus academy. The curriculum englobes Management, Management & Digital Science, and Operational Commercial Management (secondary and associate degree levels).
