A veteran sports journalist, Danny Martin returns to Sports Management Worldwide as an agent advisor after a couple years off from the agency. In his many years as a sports journalist, Danny has seen athletes miss free throws, go wide on slap shots, strike out swinging and get knocked down. Sports Background
I was not involved in team sports as a youth because of my asthma. I participated in martial arts classes (karate, teakwoodo and kung fu), and I do strength training at least three times a week.
I have served on national media selection committees for the Hobey Baker Award (2010-12) and the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award for Men's Ice Hockey (2010-17). I have been a selection committee member of the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame since its inception in 2006.
I was a voter for the John Wooden Award in 2017 for men's college basketball.
