Curtis Foster
     A native of Savannah, Georgia, Coach Foster began his career at an early age.  He lettered in football and track while attending Sol C Johnson High School.  It was apparent to him that football would most definitely play a part in his future.
     After High School, Curtis Foster served three years in the United States Army.  Upon completion of his service obligation, Curtis returned to Savannah and applied to Savannah State University.  While in attendance at Savannah State University, Curtis transferred to University Central Florida in Orlando, Florida.  Curtis Foster received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing in 1984.
     Curtis Foster played a season with the Tampa Bay Bandits of United States Football League (USFL) before an injury ended his career.  Curtis began coaching at King High in Tampa, Florida where he was a coach for the running backs in 1985-1986.  Curtis later became the offensive coordinator for Desoto County High School where the team went to the State Championship on two occasions.
     In 1990 Curtis Foster bearing the burden of the passing of his father returned to Savannah and is still caring for his brother who has Down’s syndrome.  Soft Sheen Hair Products employed Curtis Foster as a Territory Sales Manager to satisfy his financial obligations but his heart still belonged to the game of football.
     Curtis Foster personal growth encompasses several business ventures including being the owner of Elegant Beauty Salon and Elegant Distributor.  Once again his direction swayed towards football.
     In 1996, Curtis served as General Manager for a semi pro football team, the Savannah Chiefs.  In 1998- present, Curtis became a coach and owner of his own semi pro team, the Savannah Panthers who has since then changed to the Savannah Warriors and has won three Southeast conference championships and the MFL championship.  In 2001, Curtis also served as coach and scout for the Jacksonville Tomcats of the AF2 during the off season. Curtis Foster has served many positions at Savannah State University since 2002 as the Head Equipment Manager, Senior Athletic Administration staff member, Assistant Girls Basketball Coach, Assistant Football Coach, Recruiter and is currently the Radio Analyst.
     In 2008, Curtis Foster became an Agent Advisor with SMWW and in 2010 Curtis started his own company, Warriors Sports Management.
     Curtis Foster is a devoted family man and is  married to the lovely LaShawna Foster, who is a published author, the acting Owner for their Women’s semi pro team, the Lady Warriors and CEO for Warriors Sports Management.  Curtis and LaShawna Foster share four children:  LaShara (28), Lakisha (25), Curtis (21), and Calem, (10).  They have two grandchildren, Keon and Ai’yana. They are members of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond Hill, Georgia.  Curtis Foster actively speaks at different churches and schools mentoring young.  Curtis Foster is an active member in his community.
