November 08, 2021 by John Print

Sports Management Worldwide are delighted to welcome HB Køge forward Maddie Pokorny as our latest client.

Maddie is an athletic forward who likes to play wide. She has endless energy, makes some dangerous runs behind the defence and is a natural goal scorer. Prior to joining HB Køge Maddie enjoyed a successful college career with St Louis University, setting the foundations for a professional soccer career. In 2019 she earned a spot with the Chicago Red Stars as a World Cup replacement, before making her move to Europe in 2020.

Since arriving in Denmark, Maddie has enjoyed considerable success with HB Køge. Winning the Danish Elitedivisionen Championship allowed Maddie and the club to reach the European Champions League for the first time.

On signing Maddie Pokorny, Soccer Director, John Print commented.

“We have been following Maddie for some time and I’m delighted that she has given us the opportunity to assist with her career. As a player she is establishing herself as an elite talent and I’m excited to see how far she can go!”

SMWW Agent Advisor, Oscar Rojas provided his insight on signing Maddie;

“It is very exciting to represent Maddie. Being born and raised in St. Louis Missouri, she gets a lot of support from the knowledgeable local soccer community. As a fellow resident of St. Louis, it’s a privilege to represent a local developed player that has found success on the international stage. Maddie has been performing at a very high level over the past two seasons, and I believe she has much more to offer.

She is an amazing person, on and off the field.  She is a warrior that gives everything to help her team to be successful. We are very excited to work with Maddie to help grow in her career, and to achieve her goals in the short and long term."

Sports Management Worldwide looks forward to watching Maddie for the remainder of the 2021/22 Champions League campaign and is excited to be part of her soccer journey.
