Johnny Mayes believes that an athlete is best represented by an agent who closely follows the fiduciary obligations owed to the athlete. A fiduciary duty is the highest duty recognized under the law and in the athlete management setting, it means that Johnny always puts the athlete’s interests ahead of all other interests. As a life-long resident of the Pensacola area, Johnny has access to an extensive network of professionals that can provide additional support to the athlete. These include multiple professionals in each area the athlete may need assistance, such as financial advisors, tax advisors, personal trainers, and even Board-Certified physicians at the Andrews Institute located in his hometown of Gulf Breeze, Florida.

Johnny understands that an Agent Advisor must provide the athlete with all the resources necessary to be successful in the athlete’s profession, whether those resources are from Johnny personally or from a third party. In addition, he understands that his role is to help ensure that the athlete effectively manages his or her earnings so that the athlete is ready for the stages of life after his or her playing career.
