As an SMWW Agent Advisor, James Wren has successfully been mentored by Dr. Lynn Lashbrook and met all the requirements of becoming a SMWW Agent Advisor. These requirements include: agent regulations and player association legalities, contract negotiation, endorsements, sponsorship, ethics, collective bargaining agreements, draft preparation, marking, and recruiting. While James is a new Agent Advisor, he has numerous professional experiences that have prepared him to represent you for your sports career. He has the necessary ambition, knowledge, skills, and experience needed by an effective agent. He will work to ensure you have what you need to be an effective athlete.

James Wren enlisted in the United States Navy for four years and he worked as a Logistics Specialist. It was during this time when he further developed his interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities. James was deployed to the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After he completed his military obligations, James enrolled in the University of Akron where he earned his B.A. in Social Work and with the academic honors of Magna Cum Laude. Once graduated, he worked at a non-profit organization working to find housing for homeless veterans. All while building a successful real estate business and coaching his son in youth wrestling.

James Wren works to achieve the highest level of success in every avenue of life. He wants to help each one of his clients accomplish their dreams of playing professional sports at the highest level.
