Working as an SMWW Agent Advisor, Gregory Barnes has successfully been mentored by Dr. Lynn Lashbrook and has met all of the requirements of becoming an SMWW Agent Advisor. This includes agent regulations and player association legalities, contract negotiation, endorsements, sponsorships, ethics, collective bargaining agreements, draft preparation, marketing and recruiting. Gregory is well adept at preparing athletes for their sports career and has the ambition to attain the knowledge, skills, and experience needed for representing professional athletes.
 
Gregory is a native of Bessemer, AL and currently resides in Montgomery, AL where he serves as a high school science teacher with the Montgomery Public School System, an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Faulkner University and a Football Referee and Baseball Umpire with the Alabama High School Athletic Association. He graduated from Alabama State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education and Biology and the United States Sports Academy with a Masters of Science in Sports Management and Sport Studies with an emphasis in NCAA Compliance. Also, he is working towards a certification in Financial Planning at the University of Georgia.
