Eric Street

Eric Street was born in Corbin, Kentucky where he developed his love for football (soccer). He attended Union College (KY) on a football (soccer) scholarship and then transferred to the University of Kentucky. Eric graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in business. After graduation, Eric worked in the field of advertising and medical device sales for 10 years. During that time, he went back to complete a master's degree in Sports Management at the University of Kentucky. Eric began teaching at Midway University after receiving his master’s degree that next fall. In 2014, he had the opportunity to teach a night class at his Alma Mater, the University of Kentucky in their Sports Management Program. The experience of teaching at the University of Kentucky and working with students solidified his decision to seek his doctorate.

In 2015, he began his pursuit for his MBA and Doctorate in Sports Management concurrently. Also, he began working with select football (soccer) for the fall 2016 season as an assistant coach with U12 age group for Lexington Football Club (LFC). In 2016 Eric was offered the chance to return to Midway University, but with exceedingly more responsibility. Since returning to Midway University in 2016, he has taught nearly every single undergraduate course offered in the Sports Management Program. Additionally, he was acting Department Chair for the 2017-2018 school year. In 2017, Eric traveled overseas and taught Sports Marketing in Dubai, UAE to executives in their professional football system. During his time abroad, he consulted the club’s marketing professionals on ways to improve their club's branding and marketing. Some of the top Division 1 UAE soccer clubs from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah represented included Aldharfra FC, AL Ain Club, Sharjah Sports Club, Hatta, and Shabab Alahli among many others.

In December of 2019, Eric received his MBA and currently finishing his dissertation. He has also returned to coaching select football (soccer) in Lexington, as a head coach for LFC U12. In August of 2020, he enrolled in SMWW Sports Agent Course. During that time, he was mentored by two soccer agent experts: John Print and Sky Andrew, the latter representing former England National player and EPL player Sol Campbell. The intensive eight-week study prepared him to service all the needs of his clients. He completed all required coursework and met all requirements including; agent regulations and player association legalities, contract negotiation, endorsements, sponsorships, ethics, collective bargaining agreements, draft preparation, marketing, and recruiting. Eric has extensive knowledge of sports law, advertising, marketing, finance, and contract negotiations. He is fully prepared to serve his clients through their playing career and after. Eric works with mostly MLS and US Soccer Clubs.
