Biography

As an SMWW Advisor, Chester L. Banks has successfully been mentored by Dr. Lynn Lashbrook and met all the requirements of becoming an SMWW Agent Advisor. This includes completing the Athlete Management Course taught by Joe Corry, CBS Take Writer, and former Sports Agent. This course provides aspiring Sports Agents the skills, strategies, and requirements to represent professional athletes—providing the comprehensive skills necessary to recruit and represent athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, FIFA, Olympics, extreme sports, women’s sports, and international sports. Chester has completed the SMWW Course and is certified in NIL – Name, Image, and Likeness taught by Marc Isenberg. This course provides strategies that result in safe, winning partnerships between college athletes and brands while playing the sport they love. Teaching athletes to monetize their Name, Image, and Likeness. A native of the City of Franklin, Virginia, upon graduating from Franklin High School in May In 1977, Chester enrolled at Chowan University, North Carolina, and completed an Associate degree in 1979. After that, Chester enrolled at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, and earned a double degree in Economics and Religious Studies. In the Spring of 1981, Chester was introduced to the retired mayor of Arlington, Texas, Tom Vandergriff, who encouraged Chester is to continue his graduate degree in the State of California. Chester would attend Golden Gate University in San Francisco and earned a Master’s degree in Urban-State-Federal Governance in May 1983. Chester returned to the State of Virginia to pursue a law degree at George Mason University – School of Law. Chester has been a member of the Virginia State Bar since October 1987 and the District of Columbia Bar since February 2014. Chester has over 34 years of experience as a trial attorney and has been the Pastor of the Abundant Life Church in Manassas, Virginia, since 2006.
