Transfer running back from Wisconsin who will have immediate eligibility at Pitt...provides the Pitt backfield with an experienced and durable back who can make an immediate impact...will have fifth-year eligibility for the Panthers in 2011.

 

 

At Wisconsin (2007-10): Three-year letterman for the Badgers who rushed for 1,152 yards and 11 touchdowns on 240 carries (4.8 avg.) for his career...also had 20 receptions for 105 yards (5.3 avg.)... played in 36 career games for the Badgers with nine starts...spent his final season (2010) as a redshirt..

 

 

2009: Earned third letter ... played in 12 games, starting five ... finished third on team in rushing yards (279), rushing attempts (66) and rushing touchdowns (three) ... gained 32 yards on five carries against Hawaii on Dec. 5 ... 39 yards on six carries, including season-long run of 15 yards, against Minnesota on Oct. 3 ... carried 11 times for 18 yards and caught one pass for 12 yards against Michigan State on Sept. 26 ... season-high 63 rushing and tied career high with two touchdowns, his third-career two touchdown game, on 12 carries against Wofford on Sept. 19 ... gained 40 yards on nine carries and scored his first rushing touchdown of the season and tied career high by catching two passes against Fresno State on Sept. 12 ... rushed for 51 yards on season-best 14 carries and tied career high with two receptions yards against Northern Illinois on Sept. 5.

 

 


2008: Earned second letter ... played in 12 games ... third on the team with 55 carries for 305 yards and three touchdowns ...one carry for season-long 23 yards and one catch for seven yards against Cal Poly on Nov. 22 ... seven rushes for 32 yards and a career-long 16-yd reception at Indiana on Nov. 8 ... five rushes for 24 yards against Illinois on Oct. 25 ... three carries for 30 yards and a touchdown and tied career high with two catches at Iowa on Oct. 18 ... one carry for 11 yards and tied career high with two catches for 10 yards on Oct. 11 against Penn State ... ran for 46 yards on eight carries at Michigan on Sept. 27 ... scored a touchdown and had 36 yards on seven rushes against Marshall on Sept. 6 ... opened the 2008 season against Akron on Aug. 30 with season-best 15 carries for 87 yards and a TD.

 

 

 



 2007: Made an instant impact as a true freshman, playing in 12 games and starting the final four contests of the season...logged 84 carries for 450 yards (5.4 avg.) and four TDs in those four starting assignments...had 568 rushing yards for the year, the fifth-highest rushing total ever for a Wisconsin freshman...named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week after he rushed for 250 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries (8.6 avg.) in a victory at Minnesota...his 250 yards were the 10th most in school history and the fourth highest by a Wisconsin freshman...rushed for 108 yards and two TDs on 27 carries (4.0 avg.) in upset win over 13th-ranked Michigan...first career starting assignment came at No. 1 Ohio State...carried 20 times for 63 yards (3.2 avg.) against the Buckeyes.Tennessee on Jan. 1 2007 ... named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week and UW offensive player of the week.
