2009: Ramos recorded 19 tackles (10 solo, 9 asst), 2.5 tackles for a loss for 18 yards, 1.5 sacks for a loss of 15 yards, one force fumble and quarterback hurry in the nine games that he played in. He recorded five tackles against Hampton (4 solos, 1 asst) and had four tackles (2 solos, 2 asst) against North Carolina A&T.

2008: Ramos participated in 10 of the Rattler 12 games…. He finished the season with a 17 tackles (9 solo, 8 asst), 2.5 tackles for a loss of eight yards, and 1.5 sacks for a loss of seven yards. Ramos tallied a season high six tackles against (3 solo, 3 asst) Norfolk State (10-25-08) and recorded three tackles (2 solo, 1 asst) against Tennessee State (9-27-08).

2007: Ramos played in five games, while starting in one of the them at the defensive end position garnering seven tackles (3 solos, 4 asst). He recorded a season high two tackle against Southern University (9-1-07) and Bethune-Cookman (11-17-07). High School: At Bayside High School in Palm Bay, Fla., where he lettered in football and track and field. He collected 110 tackles his senior season, earning him All-District, All-Space Coast and All-Conference honors. Ramos tallied 107 tackles his junior season reaping All-District, All-Space Coast and All-Conference honors. He garnered a career high 22 tackles against Melbourne High School his senior year. In addition, he recorded 98 tackles his sophomore season and 50 his freshman season. Personal: Marquiste Ramos was born on November 22, 1988 to Edwin and Verlinda Ramos in Melbourne, Fla. He has two siblings, Darius (20) and Shaunise (14), and his Uncle Mike Ramos was an All-American at Carson Newnan in Jefferson City, Tenn. Ramos is member of the Macedonia Missionary Church. He is currently majoring in physical therapy and is enjoys weight lifting and playing John Madden in his spare time.
