Biography: Keita brings his game to the United States as he suites up for the Timbers in 2009. 2008: Most recently, he played for Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota FC (DPMM FC) in Brunei, a country located on the north coast of the island of Borneo, in Southeast Asia.

2004-07: Made his mark on the Malaysia Super League with Perak FC, finishing as the leading scorer in 2006 and 2007 with 17 and 20 goals, respectively. His 17 goals during the 2006 season earned the Malaysia Super League Golden Boot, finishing as the league's leading scorer. With his performance in 2006, Keita was a finalist for the Favorite Import Player of the Year award. In his first season with Perak FC in 2004, he played an important role in guiding the club to the Malaysian FA Cup that year. National Team: Keita was a member and captain of the Guinea U-23 National Team.
