2010: In the 2010 season Justin had 39 career field goals, which ranked him second at Oregon State University (OSU), with a 750 career field goal percentage. He scored 201 points in his career, seventh all-time at OSU.
2009: In the 2009 season opener against Portland State Justin hit a career-long 50-yard field goal. He kicked the game-winning 33-yard field goal at UNLV with seven seconds remaining. He would later kick four field goals against UCLA and again at Oregon earning Pac-10 Special Teams Player of the Week each time. Justin tacked on 22 field goals for the season, one short of the school record set in the 2005 season. Justin kicked 45 PATs, one shy of tying the school record. He earned All-Pac-10 Second Team as well as Pac-10 Academic Honorable Mention.
2008: Pac-10 Academic Honorable Mention, 15-for-22 field goal attempts with a then career-long of 47 at Arizona that tied the game at 3-3 at halftime ... kicked the game-winning 24-yard field goal on the last play at Arizona…Justin later in the season kicked a 44-yard FG, in the Sun Bowl which gave OSU the victory....Justin would hit 8 of 11 attempts over the last five games.
2007: Played in the win over Idaho State, booting a 38-yard third quarter field goal ... also was 3-for-3 on extra point attempts.
2006: Redshirt.
PERSONAL: Born June 10, 1988 in Clackamas, Oregon the son of Dennis and Pam Kahut. Justin has one sister.
