STRIPLING'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER Coached by Mike Owens at Robert E. Lee High School...named District 12-5A defensive most valuable player as a SENIOR...helped lead the Red Raiders to a 12-3 record and the Texas Class 5-A Division I State title, defeating Spring Westfield 28-21 in the final played at the Alamodome...picked off a pass in the state title game, returning it 69 yards for a touchdown...also reached the end zone on an interception return in the state semifinal against Euless Trinity.
