A speedy, hard hitting Safety who led Iowa State University in tackles in 2008.  Was second in tackles in 2009 and third in 2007.  Has played in 41 career games and started in 36 of those games.  Was a Honorable Mention All-Big 12 in 2008.  James made the transition to Safety after being a High School Half Back in Council Bluffs, IA.  Is a very discipline Safety who covers ground quickly.
