PRO CAREER: Returns for a second UFL season after serving as a key member of the California Redwoods defense in 2009… Recorded a team-leading 52 tackles and also knocked down 3 passes… Originally chosen in the second round (48th overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings… Played in 63 games with 10 starts for the Vikings from 2004-2008… Recorded NFL career totals of 144 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 2 pass defenses and 1 forced fumble… Best season came as a rookie in 2004 when he registered 59 tackles, 0.5 sacks and 1 forced fumble… Also has NFL off-season experience with the San Francisco 49ers (2009) and San Diego Chargers (2010).

COLLEGE: Proved himself to be one of Auburn’s best athletes during his college career, winning the Off-Season Conditioning Award as a sophomore and senior… Won the Pat Dye Leadership Award as a junior… Started three years at strong-side linebacker before shifting to the middle as a senior… Finished career with 350 tackles (165 solos), 6.5 sacks, 30 stops for losses of 104 yards, 15 pass deflections, 2 interceptions, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 forced fumble and 1 blocked kick in 48 games… His 350 tackles rank eighth on the school's career-record list while his 185 assisted tackles rank fifth… A three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll member, he was also the winner of the inaugural Scholar Athlete of the Year Award for football in the Southeastern Conference.

PERSONAL: Was a three-sport standout in football, basketball and track at Perry High School in Perry, Georgia… Was an All-State selection as a senior as he played linebacker and running back… Nicknamed ‘Reindeer’ due to his running style… Spent many summers growing up attending academic camps for math and science.
