2010 SEASON OVERVIEW
Was recognized and tabbed by the Associated Press as an honorable-mention All-Big 12 performer at cornerback … He is considered to be a pivotal piece on defense especially in the secondary for Missouri … Started all 13 games for Missouri at cornerback … Opening game of the season versus Illinois on September 4th, had four total tackles, along with one of the most spectacular interceptions in all of college football with a leaping one-handed interception and downed a punt at the one yard line in the fourth quarter to help lead Missouri to a win … Had another spectacular tackling game versus Texas A&M on October 16th with 8 total tackles, seven solo and one assisted … Versus Kansas State on November 13th, had 5 total tackles, all solo, along with a force fumble and recovery … Had five stops with one tackle for loss versus Iowa State … Overall, helped lead this Missouri Tiger team to a 10-3 record with a overall #18 ranking in the AP and USA Today Poll by season end.

Won All-Big 12 honorable mention by league coaches for his play as a junior, which included 61 tackles and 5 pass break ups in 13 starts … Had his most productive game of the season in a ball-hawking performance in the epic last-second win over rival Kansas, when he registered a season-high 9 tackles, broke up a pass, recovered two fumbles and forced one fumble on the night … His first recovery came in the 2nd quarter when he picked up a KU fumble and returned it 20 yards down to the KU 5-yardline, from where the Tigers punched it in to pull to within 14-10 … Later in the 3rd quarter, he stripped KU’s Dezmon Briscoe in MU territory and pounced on the ball to thwart a Jayhawk scoring opportunity … Tied for second on the team with eight tackles in the season opener against Illinois … Also had a forced fumble and a pass break-up in the win over the Illini … Made six tackles in the home opener against Bowling Green … Recorded two tackles and added a pass break-up against Furman and had three stops in the win over Nevada … Was one of three Tigers to lead the team with five tackles against Nebraska on Oct. 8 … Made six tackles, all of which were solos, against Oklahoma State … Recorded three tackles against Texas and tallied two stops against Colorado, including one TFL … Had three tackles against Baylor before leaving the game with an injury … Made two tackles against Kansas State on Nov. 14 … Had six stops in the win over Iowa State.

Continued to develop into one of the better defenders in the Big 12 Conference, and was tabbed by the Associated Press as an honorable-mention All-Big 12 performer at cornerback … Started all 14 games for the Tigers and had a career-best 78 tackles … Was second on the team with 10 tackles against Illinois on Aug. 30, eight of which were solo stops … Made four tackles against Southeast Missouri State … Recorded four stops (all solo) in win over Nevada … Made four tackles in win over Buffalo and added six stops against Nebraska … Recorded five tackles against Oklahoma State …. Recovered a fourth-quarter fumble against OSU … Made two tackles against Texas and had two stops against Colorado … Had five tackles against Baylor … Was second on the team with seven tackles against Kansas State, six of which were solo stops … Made six tackles against Iowa State, third most on the squad, including one TFL … Also recorded an interception against ISU, intercepting Austen Arnaud in the endzone and returning it 27 yards … It was his second career INT … Made eight tackles (seven of which were solo) against Kansas … Added two pass break-ups … Led the team with 13 tackles in the Big 12 Championship Game against Oklahoma … Displayed some prime hoop skills during the spring, when he teamed with Tommy Chavis, Thomas Hellm and Coach Dave Christensen to win the team’s annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament.

2007 SEASON OVERVIEW
One of the bigger and most-welcomed surprises of the 2007 season who came to Mizzou as an accomplished prep running back who was moved to cornerback in fall camp … Despite his inexperience on defense, he quickly established himself as one of the Tigers’ top playmakers there, and it took him only five games to win the starting spot, which he never relinquished the rest of the way Emerged as a valuable contributor to the defensive backfield as a true freshman, starting the last 10 games of the season, and earning 2nd-Team Freshman All-American honors by College Football News, as well as honorable-mention All-Big 12 acclaim from league coaches … Also took home the team’s cornerback of the year award despite his inexperience coming into the season … Had 49 tackles on the season … Made five stops against Ole Miss and followed that with a six tackle (five solo) performance against Western Michigan …Had at least three tackles in each of the next four games (Illinois State, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas Tech) … Made the first interception of his career, picking off Texas Tech’s Graham Harrell … Set a career-high with nine tackles (eight solo) against Colorado … Made two stops against Kansas State and Kansas … Had four tackles at the Big 12 Championship against Oklahoma and added four more in the Cotton Bowl victory over Arkansas.
