2008: Saw action in 11 of the Huskies' 13 contests at tight end and made four catches for 49 yards on the season. Most of his receptions came versus Bowling Green when he caught three passes for 34 yards. Caught a career-long 15-yard pass at Western Michigan. Also saw action on Huskie special teams.

2007: Played in 10 games and started the final two games of the season at Navy (11-17) and vs. Ball State (11-24). Caught four passes for 27 yards on the season to average 6.8 yards per catch. Made one catch for a season-long 14 yards and a first down vs. Southern Illinois (9-8). Third-down catch helped keep a drive that resulted in a Chris Nendick field goal alive in that game. Caught one pass for three yards vs. Western Michigan (10-13) while playing in 43-of-59 offensive plays. Caught one pass for six yards vs. Ball State (11-24). On the field for 66-of-79 plays at Navy (11-17).

2006: Played in eight contests, including the bowl game. Served as reserve tight end and special teams contributor, mainly on punt unit. Saw time on special teams and was unofficially credited with a tackle by coaches at Ohio State (9-2). Played 12 plays on offense vs. Indiana State (9-23). Made appearance vs. TCU in Poinsettia Bowl (12-19).

2005: Appeared in 10 games, mainly on the punt unit. Totaled three tackles on the season. Saw time on season-high five offensive plays vs. Tennessee Tech (9-17).

2004: Redshirted.

High School: Ranked No. 19 on St. Louis Post-Dispatch Super 30 Recruits list. First team All-Metro Catholic Conference, third team St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro, and second team All-State as a senior. Caught team-high 34 passes for 453 yards (13.3 avg.) and three touchdowns at TE and added 77 tackles, five sacks, and four pass deflections on defense for Class 5 playoff qualifier during his senior year. Second team All-MCC after making 10 catches for 118 yards and two TDs for 8-2 conference and district champions as a junior. Averaged 18.1 points and 9.1 rebounds per game and earned St. Louis Post-Dispatch honorable mention All-Metro honors on state's seventh-ranked basketball team as a senior. Topped the 1,000-point plateau during his prep basketball career. Dean's List and National Honor Society student. Earned four letters in football and three in basketball.
