Player Overview: Adrienne is an athletic forward/center. She proves to be a solid force on the inside on offense and defense. She can alter her opponent’s shots and can get to the basket and finish. Great rebounder (finished second on the team in rebounding). She also has a solid jump shot from about 15 feet out. Good footwork. Solid all around defensive player, who brings a lot of energy to the gym. Very coachable player who is always looking to improve her game.

 

2010-11: Started 24-25 games….led the team in scoring averaging 13.9 points per game…..name Honorable Mention All-Southland…..finished second on the team in rebounds (184) and rebounding average 7.4 per game….finished with six double-doubles….scored a season high of 23 points against Texas State….grabbed a season high 16 rebounds twice, against UT-Arlington and Lamar.

 

2009-10: Started 34-of-35 games while seeing action in every contest…finished second on the team in scoring at 10.2 points per game…named Honorable Mention All-Southland…top returning rebounder after finishing third on the team in rebounds (208) and rebounding average (5.9 per game)…added three double-doubles to bring her career total to seven…scored 15-or-more points 10 times during the year, with a high of 20 coming at Texas-Pan American…grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds at Texas Southern…distributed a season-high four assists in back-to-back games at Southeastern La. and at home against Stephen F. Austin…totaled 12 blocks during the year with a season-high of two against Stephen F. Austin…had the highest free throw percentage of her career at 71.1 percent, going 138-of-194 from the line.

 

2008-09: Played in 28 games, starting 14 of them...Averaged 7.5 points per game...had 186 rebounds for a 6.6 per game average...pulled in 85 offensive and 101 defensive rebounds...totaled 13 assists, seven blocks and 24 steals during the season...had eight games of over 10 points with a season-high 16 points twice, at UT Arlington (2/4) and at Lamar (4/4)...reached double-digit rebounds in seven games, with a season-high of 12 at Lamar (4/4)...finished with four double-doubles on the season.

 

2007-08: Started all 32 games as a freshman...averaged 5.5 points per game...pulled in 195 rebounds on the year for a 6.1 per game average...shot 53 percent, going 68-of-129 from the field...handed out 20 assists on the year...blocked 14 shots and collected 36 steals...scored in double-digits five times...recorded three double-doubles...came up with a career-best 16 rebounds at Sam Houston State (3/8)...scored a personal-best 22 points against Texas State in the Southland Conference Tournament (3/12).

 

In High School: Played for the Lions at Waco High School under coach Kay Murphy...averaged a double-double as a senior with 14.1 points and 15.1 rebounds a game...also swiped 3.5 steals, blocked 2.7 shots and distributed 2.5 assists per contest to earn District 16-4A Defensive Player of the Year and First-Team All-District honors...twice named to the Super Centex First Team by the Waco Tribune Herald and was a McDonald's All-America nominee as a senior...as a junior she averaged 10 points, eight boards, three steals and three blocks a game...selected second-team District 16-4A as a junior and was honorable mention District 13-5A as a sophomore....lettered for three seasons in volleyball...was a first-team all-district selection as a senior and second-team choice as junior in volleyball.
