Mike has a background  as a successful entrepreneur and long time business owner who has employed and mentored many people over the last 20 years. Along with a strong business and marketing foundation Mike has an interesting and diverse sports background. As an amateur boxer he won an AAU State Championship in the Light heavyweight division and as a youth he won a Junior Olympic State Championship. .As a high school athlete Mike was an All League Quarterback and Defensive End and also All Conference Defensman as a hockey player.

Mike attended Saginaw Valley State University majoring in Business Administration.

Mike's coaching resume includes serving as the Head Coach and Promoter for the Bangor Township Golden Gloves and Junior Olympic boxing programs for many years. For over 10 years he has coached numerous travel hockey teams that competed in the LITTLE CAESARS hockey league based in Detroit. He also coached high school and youth football.
