Marvin Cordero

Marvin Cordero is an Administrator of Governmental Relations oversees Community Affairs & Outreach in the health care industrial. He has over 20 years of management experience in the public sector. Marvin graduated from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, and Master degree in Public Administration with a concentration in non-profit management. He is a graduate from Sports Management Worldwide Portland, Oregon “Athlete Management” program.

He has extensive experience in Business Development, Contract Negotiations, Marketing, Public Relations, Planning, and Management. He has managed and monitored several community based organization contracts, which exceeded 5 Million dollars awarded under grants and/or public funding for healthcare programs that were affiliated with state and federal programs. In addition to his current position, he had the opportunity to exercise many of his passions. Such as, teaching undergraduate students at one of the private colleges as an adjunct professor, mentoring young male teenagers as a member of the “5000 Role Model of Excellence” founded by Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, as well being an assistant high baseball coach at his alma mater.  

Another major accomplishment was serving as Vice President of Planning and Marketing for the One Arm Bandits, Inc. The One Arm Bandits is a long-standing nonprofit organization of national and international softball teams who are physically challenged. The mission of the organization is to promote sports & recreation among the disabled. The players on the team have missing arm, due to an accident or birth defect, but compete with players without any physical handicaps and are strong competitors. The teams have been featured in” Ripley’s Believe it or Not”, CNN, Real Sports and other international media arenas.

Marvin was a former athlete who ran track, and played baseball. During his athletic career he was afforded the opportunity to try-out for Major League Clubs; however, life took him in an alternative direction. He played baseball for Delgado College, New Orleans Louisiana. Marvin has always had a passion for sports.

His goal as a sports agent advisor is to provide the best representation for athletes on and off the field or court. Communication and integrity is the key in representing athletes. Marvin’s priority is promoting and maintaining the athletes and their families’ best interest. Marvin’s compassion for people and love of family keeps him grounded in his decision making.  Athletes associated with him as their agent will feel valuable and comfortable knowing that he/she would be able to focus and perform at their highest level.
