Eric Kessler

My name is Eric Kessler Jr.  My hometown is Medford, NJ.  I graduated from Shawnee High School in 2008 where I played varsity basketball all four years and won a State Championship in 2007.  I also grew up playing football and baseball.  

I am currently a senior at Stevens Institute of Technology (Hoboken,NJ) studying Business and Technology with a concentration in Finance. I played basketball for two and a half years at Stevens. Sports are my life, and since it wasn't in the cards for me to play professionally myself, I want to do the next best thing. To me that is helping others that can play professionally by representing them to the best of my ability.  My goal is to do this the correct way with integrity, honesty, loyalty, and selflessness just as SMWW has taught me to do so through their Athlete Management course.  

As far as working, I run individual basketball workouts for kids in middle school and high school.  Also my dad and uncle run a basketball league. When I am home from college I run the gym for them and keep score. I also help them run their clinics during the summer.  My other uncle is a high school basketball coach at the high school I attended.  I work his summer camps for him and volunteer coach when I am home.  

Playing sports and being around them my whole life has taught me to be very competitive and not give up on anything. This gives me the mentality to strive for excellence and not let anything get in the way of that. I will carry this mentality to all of my clients and not disappoint. It is my goal to help every client of mine be able to focus on their sport and have complete trust in SMWW and myself to take care of off the field activities. Another thing that is extremely important to me is building a great relationship with all of my clients.  I will be there for them whenever they need me and hope to make them essentialy part of my family. Again I want to stress some characteristics that I feel are so important not only in this industry but life as a whole - integrity, honesty, loyalty, and selflessness.  All of these things are great values I have been taught and it will be my duty to carry them over when dealing with every single client I work for.
