My name is Dwayne Wilkes, I was born in the city of Los Angeles, California. Now currently live in Santa Clarita California.
Graduated from Lynwood High School in 1976. After Lynwood High I attended Santa Barbara City College for one year, where I played football from 1977 to 1978 ( S.B.C.C. Western State Conference Champions.) In 1978, Received a full scholarship to the University of California at Berkeley. Attended Berkeley from 1978 to 1983, and received my BA degree.
At Cal, I developed great relationship with athletes and coaches who are still active in the NFL, for example: Gunther Cunningham (Defensive Coordinator for the Detroit Lions), Ron Rivera (Defensive Coordinator for the San Diego Chargers) I was also coached by Dom Capers ( Defensive Coordinator for the Green Bay Packers). After Berkeley, I had a try-out with the Oakland Raiders and developed a relationship with Willie Brown (Pro Football Hall of Famer ). Brown also assisted Cal’s coaching staff in the 70’s. After the Raiders, I was invited to the Oakland Invaders training camp. After the Invaders, I concluded my football career.
I come from a sports oriented family. My cousins are Jamaal Keith Wilkes, (3 time NBA Champion), and Kyle Moore (USC) currently with Tamp Bay Buccaneers #94 (left defensive end).
I currently work as an investment broker, looking to change my career direction in life. I have a strong desire to become an NFL agent. I’m currently assisting young athletes from Southern California area, to attend major Universities
In closing, I would like to thank Joe Aloisi ( Matt Moore’s agent) for introducing me to SMWW sports agent advisor program.
