Carlos M. DiAz-Torres

Since the beginning of his professional career in 2002, Carlos Diaz-Torres had worked on Information Technologies, Sales, and Marketing for the Government of Puerto Rico and the private sector. After tough times regarding employment in Puerto Rico, he decided to become an entrepreneur in the sports business industry he had always loved.

Carlos had been student of Sports Management Worldwide since 2009. After completing the Sports Business Management and Baseball General Management & Scouting courses, he founded All Around Prospects with two partners. The mission of the organization is to find United States college opportunities and athletic scholarships for Puerto Rican baseball prospects. After the first year of operations (2010-2011), Carlos found twenty-three (23) college opportunities for local baseball players. At the same time, he also completed SMWW’s Sports Public Relations & New Media and Athletes Management courses. He found that the Athletes Management course was instrumental for him because he learned the extensive regulations regarding college eligibility and made him aware of all the actions he can or can’t do becoming an ethical agent advisor.

On June 2011, Carlos got the exclusive rights to distribute Dry My Field inside Puerto Rico. This product is a revolutionary new field drying agent that is changing the way groundskeepers fix their baseball and softball fields.

He completed a Bachelor in Business Administration with a Major in Management of Information Systems from the University of Puerto Rico in 2002. The degree also included courses about other areas of business administration and social studies such as Marketing, Sales, Management of Operations, Statistics, Accounting, Psychology, Ethics, and more.

Carlos was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Proud husband and father of a little girl.
