I feel that I've had a wealth of experiences in my life which all serve to help me connect with others. Originally I'm from Texas, but I've also lived in Montana, Oklahoma and Massachusetts. I now reside in San Antonio and can honestly say that seeing all of the different cultures and people in those areas has helped me to become more understanding of those who are different from myself.
In high school I played a variety of sports, including football, baseball, basketball, track, and field. My first and strongest love, however, was football. I had an opportunity to play some small-school college football, but a back injury forced me out of the game. Due to this, I tried to find ways to involve myself in sports, even if I couldn't suit up. That is what led me to Sports Management Worldwide. Since starting as an agent, I've worked diligently to provide every possible opportunity to my clients.
I believe my role as an agent is to help players to achieve their dreams, not to ride someone's coat tails to a big payday. The happiest moment of my career came in April of 2011 when I helped CB Malcolm Williams--who played nothing but special teams in college--get drafted in the 7th Round by the New England Patriots. To help someone improve their draft stock so significantly was a tremendous accomplishment for me.
I want to have a strong professional relationship with the players I represent, but also highly value a personal friendship with them. My friends and family are extremely important to me, as is my faith in God. I will always be ethical and upfront with my clients, and demand the same from them. I feel that in a business full of cheaters and scandal, a little honesty and integrity can go a long way toward a successful athletic career.
